DC08 Power Issue Created at 2016-07-21 20:10:50
Los Angeles Power issue July 21, 2016 at 7:01 EST
At 7:01 pm EST a power event occurred in our Los Angeles (DC08) facility.
After investigation it was noticed that a main breaker RPP140-00-EB1, which is outside of our operational constraints, was tripped.
This event caused an outage that was isolated to specific server cabinets.
At this time most service has been restored.
We are aware of a few isolated services that are still experiencing service outages related to this power event and we're working to reestablish service as quickly as possible.
If you are unsure of whether or not you're experiencing downtime related to this outage, please contact our support team for confirmation.
At this time a special electrician has been dispatched to inspect all related power equipment and ensure that no subsequent or cascading issues occur.
A full RFO will be provided upon request as soon as a full investigation is complete.
