Citrix has introducedPremier Supportto provide a more comprehensive support model that offers unlimited 24x7 worldwide technical support to XenServer users for a lower price.
Under this model there are two significant changes:
1. XenServer support is now available as a simple add-on at 7% of license cost 2. We will be discontinuing theCitrix Preferred and Preferred Extendednamed user support options which started at $3,000
Free XenServer users interested in technical support should purchase a commercial edition available through one of ourCitrix Partnersor from theCitrix Online Store.

Note:With this change, we will no longer be offering support contracts for XenServer Free edition. Existing support contracts for Free XenServer will be honored for their duration. Citrix remains committed to offering a feature rich virtualization platform for no cost.
